Features

Frequency of attribution of poems to a named author (whether in title or as a separate by-line; whether or not that attribution is correct or verifiable). Attribution frequency is described as: regular (approx. 75% or more); frequent (approx. 50-75%); occasional (25% or more, but less than one-half), rare (some attributions, but fewer than 1/4 of the poems); never (no attributions). Pseudonymous attributions (e.g. "by a Lady") are not included, but initials are.

If possible, where author attributions normally appear (eg. in the title, at the end of the poem, etc.). 

Material and style of binding;

If possible, whether the book was pre-bound (i.e. created from a blank paperbook) or post-bound after compilation; briefly provide evidence if possible

Yes or no; if applicable, with what regularity. 

Hand-drawn illustrations or devices such as birds, flowers, calligraphic lettering.

Printed engravings or illustrations inserted into book.

Number of principal compiler hands, with additional information about possible later hands or occasional entries by other hands.

Any indications of how this book was used, or intended to be used, after its creation including marginal/ editorial comments, organization of riddles and solutions to facilitate their use, bookmarks, stains suggesting spills onto pages, later insertions of notes or letters.

Standardized presentation of title;

Presence of a standard mark for ends of items;

Line numbers, if applicable.

Links to other volumes by way of title or volume numbers etc.;

Prefatory and concluding devices;

Features such as filling recto side of leaf only; ambigraph filling;

Items organized by theme or author.

Poetry written by the compiler or by members of their literary circle; not found in print prior to the date of compilation.

Indications of original compiler(s) or later owners. For example: signature on inside cover, bookplate.

Margin rules;

Header and footer rules;

Use of white space (eg. crowded pages);

Pagination (by the compiler, not future cataloguers). 

Insertions or paste-ins of printed items.

Organized list of some or all of the book's contents; often titled "Index" but generally in order of appearance in the book.

A separate page for the book's title.
